Just started working out - hows my routine? :)

Because you're relatively new to the game, it's quite possible that they all would yield similar results. However, due to the fact that Phreezer's is geared specifically towards moving the most poundage, I'd have to say that his would be the best in that regard.

Tell that guy on the other board to get his head out of his ass. Direct him to an Olympic lifting site and ask him again. Those guys squat at least twice a week and sometimes more.

Aren't you glad I sent you over here? It's certainly a better resource than Ironlife, eh?

Yes, Grizzly, I am VERY happy you sent me here, and I cant thank you enoguh. I got the best stuff here, that I will probably use for a long time. ;)

There have been a lot of great programs that have you squat and bench in the same workout, and a lot that don't.

Pretty much any two lifts can be trained in the same workout, if everything else was well thought out.

The 5x5 and HST are two examples of great programs that have benching and squatting together.

Why not? Give me a good reason

Why? When lift I spend a day doing nothing but working the chest and shoulders, and a day doing nothing but legs. It is to much strain on the body. The legs are such a huge muscle group. I do chest work twice a week and leg work twice a week.

Ok, so it's a personal preference. That's cool. YOur first post had me thinking that you were categorically condemning bench and squat in the same workout.
