Keeping Gains??? A Little Help Please

What Is The Key To Keeping Gains After Cycle ?. I Tend To Loose Like 7-8 Lbs After Every Cycley If Not More? Can Some1 Give A Bro Some Good AdviSe And Steer Me In The Right Direction On What Other Products I Should Take :d

Run HCG for 10 days and Clomid 100/100/100. You can ask 100 people on Clomid and you will get 100 different answers. Me personally, I have always run Clomid 100/100/100 and have done just fine.

Do a search for HCG and Phreezer.Phreezer had an excellent post about 2 weeks ago in which he talked about his and Hogg's experience for running HCG optimally.

If you need a Clomid or HCG source, lemme know and i will steer you in the right direction.

Yeah, you'll probably have to give more info, like how much you gain during and what your diet is like post. If you gain 30lbs and only drop 10 then that's not bad since the 10lbs will probably just be water. You can't just go by the scale. Check your BF% and the mirror

What are your calories like on and off? There was that one guy that was like "I lose like all my gains, btw, i drop calories by like 2000 when I'm off."

oK
6'0''
225-230 FULUXUATING
24 YR OLD
14% BF

3500-4000 CALORIES A DAY
300 PROTIEN INTAKE

ON MY 5 WEEK ON CYCLE AND HAVE PUT ON 13LBS SO FAR

AFTER CYCLE STILL KEEP MY CALORIE INTAKE THE SAME ALONG WITH PROTIEN

Probably just water weight that you're losing. Just by looking at your protein intake, I would bump that to at least 450 grams. I noticed a huge difference in gains and keeping gains by just keeping my protein up. I usually try and get in 500+grams.

just make sure your pct in check , you may want to vary your lifting routine from when your on to when your off some people do some dont, personally I do , I lower the amount of sets when I am off cycle but obviously keep the same intensity I also changed my diet accordially

Bro, You've got to do great Post Cycle Recovery (PCT)
Has allways helped me keep my gains. Before I knew about PCT, I'd allways lose at least half my gains. NO MORE!!!

Look up Nolvadex, HCG, and Clomid, I'm sure you know about these, but do some more research. You'll be glad you did.

thx for the replys. Got some good info from PRL.. The guy actully took the time to write me a shuedral up and then sent it to me on all the stuff i needhow to use it the correct way, and everything is on its way .. got some HGC, coming along with nolva and clomid i think i already have 100 clomid on hand but more is good... PRL is a good bro and takes the time to go the extra length to help a bro out :D

This may sound stupid, but I would suggest supplementing with betaine HCl and digestive enzymes with your protein. The reason being that it doesn't matter how much protein you eat if you're not digesting it.
How true that is. I have a bottle of Beta-Pepsin for when i increase my protein intake, for my cycle.

Interesting!!!!!
What is it exactly that you guys take there?
Betaine HCI and Beta Pepsin??? Are these both enzymes??

Can you lead me to a product-name or website where to find them?

thanks bros

Betaine HCl is just used to increase the acidity of the stomach. This is important because in order for protein to break down, you have to have a low PH in the stomach. If it's too high, enzymes that break down the protein do not function properly, and also the stomach empties sooner. This is bad because then your stomach passes on protein that is not fully digested. This is a problem because your intestines are not supposed to break down protein, and the protein can then putrify in the gut causing gas and also increasing the toxic load on the liver. This is why many people say they get gas when they eat a "high protein diet." The reality is, their digestion sucks ass and they're not digesting the meat or whatever they're eating, and it just putrifies in their gut and gives them gas. Supplementing with Betaine HCl with meat SHOULD reduce problems such as this.

Pepsin, protease, etc, are just enzymes that help digest protein. Taken on an empty stomach, protease supposedly can reduce inflamation from injuries or DOMS. But it will also help improve digestion of meats, especially well cooked meats such as pot roast.

You should be able to find betaine HCl and broad-band enzymes almost anywhere. This is extremely beneficial if you have low stomach acid production, which could be a result of stress (cortisol erodes the lining of the stomach), meds and OTC meds, and poor nutrition. Often times it is a combination of all of these. Atheletes are notoriously deficient in zinc, and a zinc deficiency hinders stomach acid production! And the really bad part is reduced stomach acid decreases absorption of nutritents, leading to even MORE deficiencies and even MORE problems.

So without proper digestion, you will have a difficult time reaching almost ANY goal you have. And basically, any food that is not digested literally becomes a poison that your body has to deal with (read stress your liver).

Nice read but doesn't more stomach acid mean a higher chance of ulcers, becasue of wearing stomach wall? If not, then why? I took this Beta pepsin a few times but only during large meals. I was always afraid if i took too much i would get an ulcer. I get gas after meals but i eat alot of food at each sitting and i eat very fast. It's just a habit

I would also like to add that betaine HCl and enzymes are more important when you "up" your protein intake.
From what i understand carbs are more acidic and protein is more alkaline. Maybe someone can explain a little better. As for where to get these products, any natural/vitamin shop will have them

but things like lemons or vinegar are quite acidic (and they can aid digestion because of this). There is also the acidity of fermented products (lactic acid) such as yogurt, sauerkraut, etc,
very interesting. I like to have some lemon juice every once in a while because i know it's a good Anti-oxident,like all the other acidic fruits. Glad to see we have people with much knowledge here.

I'd also like to add that you should practice common sense with betaine HCl supplementation. Don't take a handful of them just because you ate an apple.
lol I will only be using for large protein meals, but now i'm starting to wonder if i really need it now that i'll be lowering my calories for each meal. Well,i will be taking in more protein so yes i will use a little. I've never had ulcers ,but i just wanted to know if it was harmful in that way
