Kentucky State Police Troopers Ordered Steroids from a Florida Pill Mill

Why would they know it was illegal? They were ordering from a real, licensed pharmacy. Indeed, Florida only shut them down because they were sending out bacteria infected testosterone that made somebody sick.

No face to face doctor visit equals felony.

And yet there were no legal consequences for cops, it was just suspension.

What's up with our legal system, cops can murder and commit drug felonies and nothing happens? Did the supreme court give them total immunity and not just qualified?

It’s the perk of being a police officer. I’m an ex con but I don’t whine about cops having immunity of course the enforcers of the law have immunity that’s just how systems work.
Inmates don’t get the same treatment as prison guards and if you expect them to you’re crazy.

There should be no exceptions if these idiots want to ruin people lives with the drug war, they should pay the same price as the people they bust.

I don’t disagree but it’s just the world we live in. If they get away with murder there’s no way in hell they’re getting booked for steroids.
There’s some dirty ass cops in my city and I know we aren’t the only place. They do not play fair

The 14th Amendment would disagree with that assessment. Is it really crazy to expect people to follow the US Constitution?

Giving LE a pass goes against the equal protections clause. It's literally contrary to the constitution.

Everyone wants to look at law enforcement as the bad guys, but they aren't the ones creating the laws (I am not agreeing or disagreeing with abuse of power). I see people in positions of power in several different industries/trades that constantly break the rules they're required to enforce upon their employees. It isn't just law enforcement that does this so let's not get too high and mighty.

Be sure to remove the log from your own eye before pointing out the spec in another's eye.

For the record I am not now, nor have I ever been a LEO.

Steroids should not be a Schedule III drug, period. Looking at these guy's photos, they were not even heavy users. I could see being a cop how one would want an edge in strength and power. You could end up in a fight for your life unexpectedly on any shift.

I don’t believe they should get a free pass but they do. They violate our amendments on a regular basis. I don’t think it’s right but I’m just stating this is the world we live in

True.
Living in a major city with high murder rates, especially on LE I can understand when police do crazy shit sometimes, and I would want to have an edge on strength and speed if I was them too.
I wish it wasn’t this way but it is and regardless if it’s wrong we can’t act like the world doesn’t work a certain way because it’s “not supposed” to.

Wholeheartedly agree. There are plenty of professions where having an edge in strength or even in the appearance of strength is a game changer and potential life saver.

In my small town, I've seen local authorities break the very laws they enforce upon others with zero consequences.

I know it runs rampant worldwide, in communities of every size. Nevertheless it makes me sick.

I've seen a local judge, with my own eyes, snort cocaine from a barstool with his buddies in the upper echelon of my fair city.

That same judge was pulled over 2 years later while drunk off his fat ass. That one made the local paper...in the end, he received no punishment. The ONLY thing he lost was about 5 weeks off of his corrupt bench while an investigation was executed.

No fine, no jail time, no official suspension...nothing.

Things like this boil my blood but I try my damnedest to be a positive, upbeat guy, especially around others - if for no other reason than that negative, twisted scum are everywhere & I was fortunately raised not to contribute to that madness.

Sorry all, just had to vent a bit!

Be excellent to each other.

It’s disgusting how common that shit is. Sadly it’s just how things work here

I used to have to testify for drug testing when I worked in the healthcare field.

I always found it odd how chummy the prosecutor, defense, officers, detectives and judge were with each other, like they were all in this scam together.

Really I didn't find it odd at all, years of dealing with cops and DUI, I saw them break the law over and over when we collected(sent specimens off to state lab without chain of custody) and testing specimens. If you called them out you were asking for some serious trouble so you did as I was told. I did raise the question one time and my lab director went ape shit, turned bright red and became furious and that was the end of that.

So yes the system is rigged, we're marinated in corruption and not just LE, the private sector is in on the act as well.
