Kidney Advice for elevated creatinine low EGFR

doing a 24hr clearance test will be the most accurate if you're that concerned. eGFR is pretty well useless in individuals with high muscle mass who train hard. 59 is not alarming given the circumstance - its predictable.

Awesome, ok thanks so much! Lots of good feedback on here that has gotten me out of freak out mode lol

The cystatin C test is night and day with traditional tests. My numbers were worse than yours but on a cystatin c test my egfr was DOUBLE.
That’s wild! The big thing with asking you guys all of these questions is I’ve now researched the hell out of what these markers are telling us, while at the same time getting the feedback from people who utilize AAS and understand them from that perspective. Thanks for the feedback !

Hey guys wanted to get some advice from you all who have been doing this for awhile.

My latest bloods came back and I was concerned about my creatinine and efgr.

Creatinine = 1.49
EGFR = 59

Cycle has been 5 weeks:

400 test
600 mast
600 primo
20mg GW 51056
10mg Cialis on training days/and BP
5mg amlodipine for BP

Bloods were drawn fasted, the day before at 1pm I did a heavy boxing session for 2 hours. I thought I was well hydrated. I do take 5mg of creatine a day and used pre workout. Diet is a mix of ground chicken and ground beef, usually rice or those ore Ida frozen potatoes.

I’ve added Astragalus Root, Tudca, Milk Thistle, NAC, real mushroom cordyceps, in the last week.

I’m also set to get a cystatin-c test.

Do I wait to get the results back next week or do these numbers say stop the cycle to you?

Happy to provide any other info needed. Thanks for any advice!
Greetings.
To bring creatinine back to normal, it is important to observe the amount of protein consumed.
If you want to find out how well the kidneys are working, do a kidney scintigraphy.
Lespenephril helps to lower creatinine, but I do not advise you to take this drug without a complete kidney diagnosis.
Also pay attention to urea.
Good health to you.

Agree with previous posts.

Regarding Cystatin C... I did the same and found that adding an ACR (Albuminurea Creatinine Ratio) urine test also provides another marker for Kidney damage, and can be referenced with Cys C number, imo, for a more accurate result.

From what I researched I found this calculator that uses these markers together.

This is correct to keep an eye on kidney functions test your Creatin, BUN, and check protein in your urine (can’t remember the name of the test). Also has been covered keep BP in check and check you blood sugar fasted.

We had to see a dietitian for my wife they chopped the amount of protein she consums way down. They want her to consume no more than 30g a day. Her body weight is like 150lbs.
