Recently Ive been having some joint pains probably from maxing out to often wich Im going to back away from for awhile but Ive had some pain in my knees especially while deadlifting(sumo) though not muych at all squatting.I want to order some knee wraps to use when going hvy (3 reps or lower) but is there a certain technique to these or do you just wrap them up and tuck in the end?

Technique... yes... Generally speaking you start several inches above the knee and wrap, tightly, in a tight spiral to a few inches below the knee, then tuck in. As far as using them to deadlift, I really can't see them doing as much as you might think, but then again I dead conventional, not sumo. I do know that if you compete, some (if not most, but I'm not sure) don't allow them for the deadlift. Anyhow, good luck to you.
