Lack of energy

For the last few months my energy levels seem to be slowly decreasing and instead of moving up in weights, I seem to be dropping them.

I wake up feeling like shit, go to work feeling like shit, then I get home and I dread having to go for a workout, all I want to do is sleep.

It's not work that has me feeling so bummed out because I feel the same on non working days. Lately all I seem to want to do is sleep.

Brief description of what I'm taking:

Sus250 - 1ml every 2 weeks for TRT.

B12 - 1ml every week.

Solgar Multi V - 1 every day

Blackmore's Anti oxidant - 1 every day

Fab Iron Tablets - 1 every day

I'm eating plenty of red meat, I'm 180lbs with about 10% Bf.

Mid last year before any sort of training I weighed in at roughly 130 lbs.
Let me tell you, I felt much better than eating just two meals a day and not looking after myself than I do now.

I've had blood tests taken for

Cholesterol
Blood sugar
Liver enzymes
Bone Density
Testosterone/LH/FSH/SHBG etc etc

All levels seem to be in the normal range.

Not even doctors can seem to pinpoint what's causing the lack of energy.

I hope this makes sense, I just woke up from a midafternoon nap.

Look forward to hearing from some replies

Bro, I feel the same way the past few weeks. I am currently on a Prop/Tren cycle. I thought that maybe I wasnt taking enough anti-e's and maybe suffering fatigue because of it. I am still feeling fatigued. I am now thinking it may be related to stress. I have had a busy ass summer, travel, work, kids, wife, new house, got in a car accident in July you know the normal adult stress stuff. I feel much better when I have nothing to worry about. Training and good diet help me relax most of the time.

Dont know what your stress level is like but, just a thought, stress can fuck you up big time, especially to feel fatigued.

how long have you been taking the sus250? i ask because that dose seems like it would definitely be enough to shut you down but the dose is too infrequent and will lead to hormone fluctuations. like you'll feel good for a couple of days after the shot, courtesy of the prop, but then you feel like shit. maybe 1cc of sus every week would make you feel better. i think it will.

the other thing is to get your epstein-barr levels checked as well. you can get this at any time and won't know unless you get tested for it specifically. i felt the same as you in '98 and my doc tested me and my #'s were through the roof. now i watch my immune all the time and take specific steps to boost it on a regular basis. hope this is not the case with you but check it anyway.

Could be your overtraining, happens to me very easily, back off the training a little or take a week off, or it could just be the seasons changing, happens to alot of people as the days get shorter.

good post by chip ... also other bros are right ... any raise in stress levels lately. also are you getting enough carbs?

heavy lifting over prolonged periods of time without enough rest or periodization will definitely suppress your immune system and lead to the general malaise you describe. since chronic fatigue, epstein-barr, etc are all associated with the breakdown of the immune system it makes sense to watch your lifting carefully if you do have something like that. and it;s becoming all the more prevalent these days. not sure if it's environmental toxins, medication side effects or what but more and more folks are being diagnosed these days.

Do you have a deviated septum or sleep apnea problem? I may be way off base here, but I have those problems, and although i am in bed for 8-10 hours a day, the time i am in deep REM sleep is minimal. My wife says i toss and turn all night long, and i can feel myself waking up constantly all night. I too am tired all the time, and this does interfere with workouts. There are a ton of reasons why you could be tired, this is just mine, may not be yours.

I agree with some of the anwsers and that is there are so many reasons what could be casuing this that its almost impossible to nail it... Lately i have been feeling depressed very badly but that is because i came off of my slin cycle and my cortisol is wacked up, but i am not tired though, you have to look at when you started feeling this way and trie and find the cause of this problem... It may be a change in the weather which is the most current problem for depression i have read, when the summer goes and you feel the cold creeping in with daylight getting shorter each day, fuck who woulndt be depressed...imo

possibility

I think most of us have gone through this stage at some point. If it is not related to diet/exercise, than it usually means stress/depression/anxiety could be the culprit. It was in my case and i relieved the fatigue by an anti-anxiety med. Good luck.

I be way off but it's the fall season. Possibly allergys. I've been sleepy and all that crap and went to the doc told me it was probalby allergys. That you can get them later in life. Just an idea

Trt

I to am on HRT or TRT as you call it and I can tell you this, that not enough and to far apart. I take 100mg Test cyp EW and that will keep my test levels even through out the week. IMO sust is not the right test to take for HRT as it has fast acting esters in it and take will make you test levels spike fast then drop making you feel like a Yo Yo. Talk to your Doc and change to test cyp at least 100mg EW and I bet you will feel better. I had to basicly teach my Doc about HRT because he just did'nt know but after a little pestering he finally read up on it or some thing and agreed I was right. This is what worked for me and IMO it will most likely work for you too.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I don't think it's the weather change as over here in Sydney Australia, we've come off a pretty warm winter and there hasn't been much of a change heading into spring.

As for 1cc every week, I tried that also. still the same results, even with 100mg every week.

I've been on sus250 for about the last 7 months.

Chip, do you mind elaborating on epstein-barr levels? What they are, how they make you fatigued?

As for the carbs, i'm getting an intake of about 260g ED.

Will L-Glutamine help with my immune system?

I'll be seeing my doctor some time this week to get my cortisol and 'epstein-barr' levels checked.

Thanks heaps for the replies!

Will let you guys know how it pans out.
