Lane nortons PH3 workout

I ran PHAT, really enjoyed it.

PHAT 3 is better imo. Ran it to a T for 20+ weeks. Made good gains. I'm still running it, kinda. I just subbed in OHP 3x's EW, cut back on a few accessories, cut out BFR (takes too long), and more volume on deads.

Thanks buddy. I might give it a go. Seems pretty solid. You get your knee sleeves taken care of?

I had to edit the last one lol did they exchange your knee sleeves?

No. :( I'm making em work. I gotta roll my compression shorts over the tops of em. Then they don't bunch up, as much, behind my knees. If I ever get another pair they will be SBD's and I'll wear em ONLY around the house for a couple of days to test the fit.

That's crazy they wouldn't exchange them. Makes me think what type of company are they.

I definitely like it. I've been modifying it quite a bit this last year and have tweaked it for both hypertrophy and strength training. Even following it to a T (minus BFR) you will not only get stronger but also put on some size in the process.

Do either of you guys have a spread sheet or something with the exercises? I've seen some of them but not a lot of the accessories work. Like I don't like only doing 2x9 on Mondays for squat, bench, deadlift in the first block. That doesn't seem like a lot. Maybe I'm wrong?

Well in their defense I didn't follow the rules. I was so excited about getting and use em. I should've worn em around the house for a couple of days....I took em straight to the gym. They had sweat and chalk marks on em. Could've been cleaned though.

I used the BB.com trainer. Yeah it doesn't seem like much, but it adds up quick.

PH3: Layne Norton's Power And Hypertrophy Trainer, Day 1

I can't find it, but I thought there was a calendar with a break down of the accessory work?

Are you gonna do the BFR training? I really liked it at first, but it gets old and time consuming. I used knee wraps from Walmart. They worked good.

Trust me, by the end of the block when you're doing amraps and twice as many sets per exercise you'll be wishing you were back only doing 2x9's. lol

I'm thinking about it. It sounds interesting, I might try it just to see if I like it. I'll probably have to buy a cheap set from Walmart to try it tho.
