I'm reading reviews that are saying the monitor I bought is shit and reads super high, so I feel like my issue isn't as bad as it's making me think.

Yes you can buy insulin otc at Walmart without prescription but keep in mind it is a human grade insulin that is not as refined and harder to control...but the statement is true you can walk into Walmart with no prescription and buy insulin for cheap.

Not Lantus though. You can only buy the fast acting and in some states they have their own rules.
I have Lantus now. I’m already almost maxed out at 30ius at night and 20 in the am. I’ve been stuck at around 230 for a bit... if you bs is to high you will have a tough time growing.
