Late 40's

Hello everyone. I'm happy to be here. As a father in my late 40s, I've had an on-and-off relationship with the gym since my teens. Recently, after a clinic-based TRT attempt didn't work out, I began my first (test only) cycle after committing to a consistent routine in summer 2025. I now believe starting TRT or a cycle earlier in life would have mitigated many challenges of aging. It's true what they say: testosterone really does help with mental clarity, and I can personally attest to that.

Before increasing dosages do you have blood pressure in check? Other blood markers look good? Not trying to pry, just looking out for you.
I’m glad you’re feeling better and back in the gym.

I did not increase the dose. The clinic base TRT did not workout so I began self administrating testosterone. Prior to starting, I underwent comprehensive bloodwork, the results of which were satisfactory, and I accounted for my current medications. I conducted thorough research to ensure I proceeded safely. My current plan involve a 10 week cycle of 350mg followed by 10 weeks of 125mg.

Welcome aboard brother. My situation is similar to yours. I’m also in my 40’s and wish I started earlier. Self administering is the way to go once harm reduction is also a focus. Im currently on my second cycle and the gains keep coming.
