Wow i did not get the responces that i hoped for from some of u guys. First of all i am done with taking AAS i just wanted to know since i have taken in the past would it get me in trouble when i take the test? But don't answer I don't want o get anymore shithead responces. Get a real job.....who ever fucking said that is a joke. Yes some police men are no good but a lot are out there to protect your fucking rights. That is a real job and taking that chance that u might not come home that day from work is enough to show for. I myself don't like a lot of cops but i am becoming one so i can try to make things better on the streets. No i am not going to be a dickhead cop, and i have found out that they do not test for aas unless u are going in FBI, CIA, etc. To those of you that respond serious thank you. peace bros!

Depending on where you plan to work,they may give you a polygraph and if you lie and they know it,they will not hire you. Yes,there is a chance that you will get shot,beatin,or hurt in any way,which is another reason it's not for me. That all depends on where you are. The cops around my way don't do shit,and they get paid shit,so i guess it all works out but like crewboss said,the benefits are great.

If they think your on something,they will wait for another time. I know the best drug to take before a polygraph that will deffinitaly not give you away and make you very relaxed. I don't remember it,but it's in my book. I almost had to take a polygraph,so i studied on how to beat it. There are ways around it,without getting caught.

as far as money goes, i have made right at 70,000 a year before. this was 3years ago. and i worked alot of overtime but i made it. on average i make around 48,000. thats not bad for small town alabama,lol. but remember i've been in going on 10 years and im not a patrolman.
mr.PIMP i think you'll like it if thats really what you want to do, i see a lot of guys get into it and then they see whats its really like and they get back out. this job is full of stress and hardships and it takes a pretty hard soul to handle most of them. i have seen almost everything to see while being a officer, child death, homicide, pretty much you name it i've seen it or worked it. just dont let the power you will receive go to your head like 98% of all rookies.they think that since they can arrest people and write citations then they are the cock of the walk,lol. just be a normal person and treat everyone with the good respect and you'll do fine.

I could. When I think about 75% pension at 55 or 60 and still having 15 or more good years of working plus SS benefits, it sounds like a great deal. My grandpa was a cop for 40 some years, so that's his deal and it certainly isn't hurting his bank account any.

Respect to all the cops out there...it's a tough gig! I've heard firefighters get waved to with all five fingers...cops only with one. Think about it pimp...when you see a cop in your rear view mirror,what's the first thing that goes thru your head...Fuck...followed by fear of whether you were going 5 mph over the speed limit,etc. If the poloce show up at your house your proabably in some sort of trouble. When the fire dept. shows up people are happy to see them. I fully respect what cops do,but if you want to HELP people maybe try a career in the fire service...best fucking job in the world! Although you'll proabably notice it's alot harder to get in.

yes i have noticed its very hard to get in and i don't get into the medical shit very much. I have tied it before and found that its not for me. I might not be a cop forever i might just use it as a stepping stone for another carreer. It's way to political when your a cop. You can't always do your job the way a fireman could. You will have to deal with assholes just because they know someone. I know alot of cops say that they will just arrest them and they don't care who they know,but it doesn't work like that. I realized that it would be alot like the military,as far as orders and inspections. I hate inspections and i really hate taking orders from some ass just because he has a higher rank then me. Even my wife says that she is happy that i didn't pursue that career. I couldn't sit back and take abuse from some jerkoff kid just because his father is some bigshot in town,and i don't like Authority. As you can see,i'm in a good mood it's a good job for some,don't get me wrong. Every job has its bullshit and i guess the benefits of becoming a cop,may make up for it,but i still say be a fireman. It may be more dangerous,but look at the damn hrs they work. 8 days a month is sweet.

Well that is a downfall of being a fireman now. They are sending them on paramedic calls now. I think they need more Paramedics,so the firemen can do the jobs they are supposed to.
