Leaning out routine

Hello,

Just trying to get some opinions of set reps for leaning out ,
Is it better to lighten the loads but keep the reps high 12-16 and how many sets per body part is recommended .Thanks
 
In general you will lose some stregnth but you should still lift as heavy as you can with good form. You lift weight to build or maintain muscle. Use diet and cardio to burn the fat.
