Left forearm pain

Hey guys

As of the last 3 or 4 weeks I have been getting really bad pain in my left forearm mostly on bicep curls or spotting someone on bench press

The pain is mostly after I hold the weight then release my grip

I've tried having a few days off with no real change, its at the point now I have to curl much smaller weights to avoid the pain and its just a general inconvenience for other exercises

Any suggestions would be great, also I'm right handed and it's only my left forearm

Thanks

Either imbalance or a case of tendonitis/tendonosis. I had a similar condition when I began, reverse wrist curls helped me the most. If pain is too bad consider a week off on Naproxene. Once you come back begin slowly and warm up a lot, using wrist rotations posted in the elbow pain thread. Often cold causes pain in tendonds, every time I forget to stretch before pull ups I get bad forearm pain. I have found doing cable curls neglects it however and personally prefer doing cable curls over almost any other curl (inner bicep incline curl and spider curls being an exception) overall, because you can progress in poundage faster and with less forearm/rotator cuff danger.

Thanks for that I think I might opt for the week off and then give some cable curls a shot
Its not brought on by the cold since its pretty close to 40deg c here every day lately haha

I've had a lot of luck with a product called "ARMAID".

armaid . com

I don't work for them... just really liked the product.

I have been stretching every day
Moved to single arm cable curls/Hammer curls and pain is a 1/4 of what it was
I have attempted a few smaller weight straight bar curls although still causes discomfort it's no where near the level it was previously
Thanks again
