They can get away with doing whatever the hell they want if people are going to continue ordering from them and not due any research. Really the only way to insulate yourself from it at all is to order small and test.
It is always going to be a crap shoot to some extent. A good source can take the money and run or start selective scamming at any time. It seems now that a few suppliers know about labmax and are no longer sending bath oil with nothing, but instead sending amounts that will trigger labmax, but show up on a mass spec as less than honest results (like 50mg per cc of test instead of the advertised 250mg/cc).
Really all we can do is keep testing and run people off quick when things go bad. Quick information dissemination on supplier problems is likely the best thing we can do.
