Lifting and tendonitis

Hi,
I've had tendonitis for over a year now. When I rest it goes away, but comes back when I lift. Any ideas on what exercises will not bother my elbow? Also, are grip straps a good idea?

Probably should take a break for 6 weeks or more, unfortunately thats what Im doing, when it becomes chronic you cant lift, save your joints, also do a search I recently posted in

You mean if it's chronic you can NEVER lift again?

you can also look into prolotherapy. i know one guy who had severe tendonitis in a knee and elbow and said the treatments basically healed the problem. I also know a guy who tried it and didn't like it at all, but if the tendonitis is that bad you might want to look into it.

good luck.

I googled prolotherapy, it sounds good, but I live in a very rural area, we do not have it here yet.
