Liver Issues

Not so far. They have been fixated on the tick bite.
Flesner Ive have Lymes since 2010. Bloodwork should confirm that and also you would have noticed a tick bite the shape of a bullseye, very hard to miss that. Being tired all the time is a symptom and feverish the first couple of weeks you come in contact with the tick. Joints hurt all the time too.

While I hate problems that disappear without a discovered cause, I am glad you are starting to feel better.

Thanks, me too. Of course, the docs already tested for most of the stuff that won't kill me. Not sure I want them to keep looking! I think I'm just going to blame Putin and forget about it..

A lot of my mountain biking buddies have it. It's hard to believe I never got it with all the ticks bites I've had over the years. But the docs at the hospital went over the top with all the different tests. I count 3 separate Lyme tests, 1 under Lyme AB, 1 under Western Blot Reflex, and one under a comprehensive tick test panel. Can't fault their enthusiasm.

Seem to have gotten my energy back all at once. Haven't needed to sleep more than 6-8 hours since Thursday, and did a normal (for me) squat workout on Friday without needing a nap afterward. More importantly, libido returned with a vengeance and urgency I haven't felt since before this all started!

I'm supposed to wait for the GI doc to schedule an appointment, but I'm impatient and ordered more blood work from PMD Labs for a whole $38. Probably have the results before I get an appointment. If the numbers suck, I'll probably call a different GI doc, since the one I was referred to is apparently too busy to talk to me.

Good for you @flenser - hopefully that body is recharged....be nice to it ;) lol

AST and ALT are down to 45 and 79 respectively in the last test. I'm going to give it another week and test again. The GI doc never contacted me, so I guess I will just forget about him.

Still not feeling 100%, but it could just all the boring crap at work lately making me sleepy! Another sleep filled weekend and I should be about there. I guess I'll never know what made me sick in the first place.

So I ended up faxing the test results to my family doc, and was told not to bother with the GI doc since I was pretty much back to normal. But the GI doc's office called me on Wednesday and wanted to schedule an appointment - for the end of September. I told her if I could predict when I was going to get sick 2 months in advance I would move to Canada. I think I hurt her feelings, but damn September!? I told her no thanks.

Anyway, I think I'm done posting on this. Nothing really learned other than 6 docs are no better than 1 at figuring out what's wrong. Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I was pretty freaked out there for a while.
