liver

maybe max , since you are a speed reader, you missed the context of the conversation. I will elaborate more next time, in the instance that you may interject .

We agree that about lifestyle, diet and drug use habits/alcohol consumption wont much allow solicitation of any effect of the herb.

Regarding all this about milk thistle and liv52... I want to make clear that askari? or anyone starting with a healthy liver and using medium amounts of AAS for relatively short time periods is probably not going to suffer any type of liver problem. However, IMO, these things fall into the catagory of "cheap, easy, can't hurt, may help so why not".

For anyone really abusing AAS, these things probably won't help enough to make a difference. 2 true stories:

A friend of mine was on primobolan for 4 years straight and occassionally would throw in a little Dbol. When he finally had a check up done, the doctor wanted him to go straight to the hospital for more tests as he'd never seen someone walking around with liver values so bad. Needless to say, he stopped all AAS... for about a year. Then he started up again but this time on standard on-off cycles.

Another guy I know loved Anadrol. He got gyno, had the tissue all cut out and now thought he could really go for it. He was taking 150mg/day (AD-50 morning, noon and night) for 5 months straight getting ready for the Cal. He was starting to get in a few magazines and was talked about as a future pro. About a month before the show, his eyes were looking yellow and he wasn't feeling so good. He went to the Doc who confirmed Jaundice and hepatic lessions. He never again competed.

hey who knows if anything will happen if i do dbol only for 5 weeks and then stop for 2 then start up for another five,,will ther be any bad side effects

uh....congratulations on hijacking this thread.

to answer your question, however, i will make the following points:

1. dbol-only cycles(or any oral-only cycle) suck.
2. you still have to do some PCT, even for just a 5 week dbol cycle, so prepare properly for that.
3. giving your liver only a 2 week break is a no-no. make sure you run liver supplementation correctly.
4. read around a little more before you hurt yourself. :)

hope this helps, man.

Again, thanks for all the good information.

My liver is healthy (based on a consistent history of blood work) and until now, I've used only injectables. My cycles are short and very moderate in amount. I'm thinking my risk is relatively low, but will use some kind of milk thistle supplement, just to be sure.
