Long Term Benefits Of Aas

http://www.rmoutlook.com/article/20141023/RMO1101/310239989/-1/rmo/wada-monitoring-research-on-long-term-effects-of-steroids

"A new study out of the University of Oslo has found anabolic steroid users could receive muscle building benefits for decades after they stop using banned substances, creating a problem for anti-doping agencies around the world and raising the ire of several local athletes."

The funding behind the research (WADA) is intent on demonizing steroid-using athletes as eternal "cheats" who will always have an "unfair advantage" over other athletes; it will be used as the basis of lifetime bans for any athletes caught using steroids.

But once you remove this anti-doping bias and AAS stigma, the research is an incredibly and positively pro-steroid use in young adults:

Imagine taking a drug for a short period of time (steroid cycle) that will have positive LBM benefits that will persist (permanently) over the course of a lifetime?

The anti-steroid morality is having an unfortunate effect on the direction of scientific research.

I remember reading about this awhile back and posting something on it. i don't think this is it but...
ergo-log.com/testosterone-propionate-can-have-permanent-effect-on-muscles-animal-study.html
"thus, the benefits of even episodic drug abuse o_O might be long lasting if not permanent in athletes. our data suggests that world anti-doping code calling for only two years of ineligibility after a conviction for steroid use, should be reconsidered."

Obviously.

From what I get, all your doing is injecting your body with what you already have (testorerone), or controlling what is in your body.

The power is yours

Yes and no, Kody. We, as users, like to throw that out there whenever someone questions our choice to use steroids.

I say "yes" because you would be correct if ALL we were injecting was just pure, clean testosterone (think pharma grade).

I say "no" because unfortunately, so much (basically all) of the UGL gear we are pushing contains a lot of other things, in addition to the test, some potentially harmful (heavy metals, bacterias, etc).

Also consider that too many of us use way too many drugs and compounds beyond just the test, and you can see where our statement that "we are just putting something into our body that our body already creates" may not be completely accurate.

To be clear, I am guilty of all of the above, so I am not judging, I am just saying.

Well we all should be aware of that, well atleast I hope. In a perfect world nothing would enter our body but food and water. Steroids are a risk we take I guess, but I'm more than willing
