Long term storage of raws in the fridge?

Fridge has humidity... be careful... most of them has the melting point hyper high so u can storage them at room temperature. I never storage them in the fridge.
Perhaps u can try a fresh area, and thats it.
Test E has a melting point of 40 degrees centigrade if u live in a place with a temperature near 40 degrees then u should have a special area.
But normally room temperature will be fine.

Yes, I store my raws in the freezer. I first divided them into portions in ziplock bags so that I don't have to take everything out every time I want to brew. Then I put a silica pack and a deoxidizer pack in each ziplock bag and placed the bags in vacuum bags. I put another silica and deoxidizer pack in the vacuum bags (before sealing, of course).

Okay I will avoid the fridge what about up on the attic? I just want to put it somewhere out of the way as I’ve brewed enough to last me a couple years already.
Thanks mate what do you think to maybe putting up in attic? I live in UK so pretty cold in the attic year round.

I honestly don't know. I also have no scientific basis for storage in the freezer, only my layman's idea that the decomposition process can be slowed down by particularly low temperatures. If you have no other option, pack the raws as airtight as possible and store them up there.

You can reduce humidity in ur attic buying an electric moisture absorbent dehumidifier, but if u close ur bag in the right way will be ok.
Another thing for using silica gel u have to calculate the quantity of silica, its not just buying silica and putting a bag of it inside ur raws.
Excess of humidity will damage ur raws, but too little humidity too.
Every compound has a humidity percentage that u have to respect.
I keep mines at a cool and dry place and thats it. If u put it in the fridge and somehow moisture get inside ur raws ur lose money n time.
