Same reason I like Ken Shamrock I guess. Although Shamrock is a bigger asshole, the have an awesome work ethic and not afraid to admit using ped's. Not to mention great competitors in the prime time of their career.

Was he honest about his drug use? That's not the way I remember it going down. In fact if you watch the movie about Silva ("Like Water" I think it's called) leading up to their fight he TRASHES Lance Armstrong and said he deserved cancer for doping and some other professional athletes. Then he got busted not once but twice at least, maybe more?
I do like shamrock though I grew up watching that dude in WWF or whatever it was and I was impressed to see him jump in UFC on the ground floor.

I just think modesty goes a long way, cockiness should never be confused for confidence, or vice versa imo. To each his own though, I see why guys like him I just never really took to him the way he runs that dicksucker :D
