WOW, I did not expect that reply, especially considering the size of your legs. This makes me rethink everything I have ever read. I can see how you are a coach in high demand... I have honestly learned so much from your brief posts here. I can only imagine what a full on coaching session would be like. Kudos to you, thanks for being on MESO!

Thanks, I've only been hitting lower body once per week for the last few years and spend most of my time on hamstrings and glutes. I may only do 4-6 workings sets on quads per week these days.

The only quad movement I do every week is leg extensions and I haven't done traditional barbell back squats in years as I find they are very sub-par for hypertrophy purposes.



Nope, I'm a bodybuilder and not a powerlifter. If I cannot do at least 5-7 controlled reps, then I drop the weight...
This is exactly what I have been thinking and understanding finally. Thanks for the reply it was real helpful.

I have talked to 3 people with legs like you and they all said what you did. That leg press and leg extensions are the best for quad development. I find it hard to get big hamstrings, my quads overpower my hammy I think even though I do 2x the amount of workouts for them.

But that being said, I definitely have found recently that squats, mostly front squats destroy my core and shred my abs up.
 
I know your looking for bloods but all I used to run were tren only cycles. This was probably 13-14 years ago. There wasn't info then like there is now on always running test with every cycle. I didn't have sexual dysfunction. I actully had less sides running it solo then with any test. Now I don't know if because I was younger then or because of the test. I had a rough time in my life at one point and didn't have any money or a job. I didn't have money for pct. all I had was left over tren, and I didn't want to just crash so I ran about 50 tren weekly only for a few months. 25mg twice week to conserve. I'm sexual fiction was fine. I don't have money for food or to pay for a gym. I got smaller, but lean without training or eating hardly any protein. However, I was extremely depressed. I didn't have any sense of well being. I had no motivation to fix my life at all. But, I did function as a man and didn't look bad at all, despite no food or training. Almost what a kid with great natural genetics looks like before working out.

Thank you for this, I actually very much enjoy hearing anecdotes such as these...and, as I mentioned earlier, research is heading into the realm of SARMS for HRT due to the sides that testosterone can bring with it for some. Due to trenbolone's metabolic behavior, it is often lumped in with SARMS as a potential replacement strategy, although no human trials are being conducted as far as I know...

Right, Like I said above I have all the people I talked to with legs like his, don't squat, they do leg press with there legs close together and lower. also do high rep leg extensions. I have seen a great development in my quads from following the same protocol. Especially that one muscle in middle of the quad that tucks under the other ones. I forgot what its called. I haven't studied muscle names in a couple years.

I agree they aren't the BEST mass builder for legs.

With that said, they are an excellent mass builder overall and, unless you have a good excuse, they should never be overlooked. I'll prepare now for the counter arguments but you are not a real weightlifter if you don't squat. End of story.

Squats will make you stronger and other lifts. Ever seen a good bodybuilder that was weak?

Do you need them to be good? Not necessarily. Are you undercutting yourself by not doing them? I think so.

Do you tren can be used for hrt? I'm curious to know how tren with hcg would work, but with the estrogen increase from hcg maybe that would defeat the purpose.

I'm on the fence, personally. Because trenbolone might lower the risks associated with sides related to DHT and estrogen but we must remember that both pathways have key roles in our overall metabolic makeup.

And sense testosterone, DHT, and estrogen levels will be significantly impacted, we'd need long-term trials to begin to elucidate what deficiencies in these could ultimately lead to.

Squatting and deadlifts take so much out of me that I only get to do 2 more exercises of extensions or Ham curls. The amount of pain it puts my body in just isn't worth it anymore. I haven't worked legs in 2 months and I haven't lost any size. I did this on purpose because I wanted to fit into a pair of fucking pants. I still can't fit into a pair of pants.
