Looking for feeback on first leg of cycle

47 year old
On TRT 200MG WK
175# ~13% BF

Started on
400mg Test
400mg primo
30mg dbol split into 2 per day

1st week was tough, primo did some weird stuff. Major lump, entire glute was hot 104 degrees and very sore. Could not sleep on that side. Ran the primo for 2 weeks and cut it off thought I was getting sick. Continued on dbol and Test.

Strength gains were decent but did not put on any real weight. Over 5 weeks put on 8#.

Started the primo again at week 5 and noticed the same symptoms. Flu like feel. 103-104 degrees at the injection site. Very hard.

What could be causing the issues with the primo and what could limit the weight gains on dbol? 8# just seems minimal.

You haven't said anything about your diet, that's what determines if you gain weight. Not gear. If you're sitting there eating 3k calories wondering why you're not gaining more than 8lbs, there's your answer

It's primo, it's gonna hurt. Get sterile GSO and cut it down to 50% or something and it'll hurt less

Dbol weight is worthless for the most part- water weight that disappears upon cessation of orals. Primo hurts. Break into daily pins.

As evom said- weight gain comes from food, and what program you are running takes a part but the weight gain takes place in the kitchen. What are your macros at? How
Many days are you training?
 
Training 4/5 days per week. Broken up into push pull legs or push pull shoulders legs.

Diet:
Breakfast 7am
3 chicken sausages
Roasted potatoes
Eziekiel toast
Protein shake

Brunch 11am
Whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and spinach
6 oz chicken
Spinach

Late lunch 3
Sweet potato
6 oz chicken
Spinach

Dinner 7pm
Whatever the family eats

Post workout
Protein shake plus banana or apple with peanut butter and granola or more pasta and 6 oz chicken

Try to eat again right before bed whatever is leftover
 
Address your diet. What's the weight on the potatoes and pasta? It does not look like you're eating enough unless that's like 450g potatoes per serving
 
How many grams of carbs should I be targeting for each meal? I train at 730pm.

1 random sample from meal prep
Sweet potato 6.7 oz
Pasta 6.8 oz

I work a desk job so I don't do a bunch of walking or exert alot of energy.

If you're eating 6 meals a day, maybe try aiming for around 65g per meal to start and increase from there if you're not gaining
