Losing Bitcoin fast?

I am feeling frustrated using coinbase for Bitcoin purchase. I have a $2000 limit but it takes 8 days for the money to clear into my account. We the exchange rate I have lost $23 dollars in two days.
Now when I go to buy more the price keeps going down and I have to keep buying more to make up for the lost money.
But it keeps changing and then it takes 8 more days to clear again! WTF!!
Any suggestions?

Dude, it has almost doubled in a year. Think about if you had bought a hundred bitcoins a year ago. You would of made close to $40,000.

Its like stock. It fluctuates. Nature of the beast.

Yeah I know.
Just frustrating losing money.
I was ready to send my money/order because my money finally cleared.
I woke up and found out it's down $23 dollars. Now I have to wait 8 more days for more money to clear and hoping it doesn't go down again.

If you use local Bitcoin through a broker the exchange rates are higher but you instantly have your coin. Better than losing money waiting on coin base. Higher limits and more anonymous.

Welcome to trading in commodities.

How is that any different then a Bitcoin wallet? Is the rate locked in?

It's stored in dollars. It's like another bank account. You are moving dollars from your personal account to coinbase. You can then buy the entire amount of bc immediately at whatever the exchange rate is at that time.

Link a debit card to coinbase. I did that and my spending limit is $10,000 with no delayed period. Bitcoins arrive instantly.
