Lost decent muscle do to no gym.

So not having a gym has kind of made me lose muscle. The bands suck, they have no tension besides the top. Bodyweight exercises suck. I guess i need a barbell and weight.

landmine presses, and squats, and dealifts and everything landmine i guess is the way to go?

any ideas to make these workouts better. The gym is needed, for this in my eyes.

i have been doing amrap with bands, no good. 40-60 reps.
 
Agree. Tbh, i did a few pushup, pullups, and 20 lb arm workouts but just gave up. That will only retain mass to a certain extent, and is better than nothing but I'm just going to wait till gyms reopen. I'm not paying insane money for home gym equipment right now.
 
I fucking miss cable machines.

Everything is just straight iron for me right now.
Been making some decent gains on my big 3 lifts and have made some milestones...
But my arm size is suffering a bit

Hopefully this is all over soon
 
I've been using all bands. Are they as good as hitting the gym? No of course not, but they are decent enough to maintain if you eating well imo. Like you said, since they only have tension at the end of a movement, make sure you are holding the rep for 2 or 3 seconds when you do them. Whatever you lose will come back fairly quickly once you can get back in the gym.

Yes i do that holds and everything.
 
Good thing is most of us here have a particular hobby which should allow us to get back into the swing of things rather quickly. I for example have a nice test 200 / mast 400 concoction that’s screaming my name

Probably burns like a whore lol.

I'm just looking forward to my first Primo Cruise, so excited I almost want to end my cycle to try it.

You aren't alone, lost muscle and strength. It will come back quickly once you can get lifting again
 
Haven't lost a fucking thing since lockdown. My primary focus is on pushups, inverted rows and goblet squats. I do the deck of cards challenge for each of these muscle groups. Pushups are up to 27 lbs of resistance on my back for deck of cards, inverted rows are just bodyweight and varying hand position from wide to narrow every other set, goblet squats are currently uo to holding a 40 lb DB between legs and going ass to grass.

On the other movements like lateral raises, curls, etc it's a few sets of say 12-20 reps just to get the motion in and the pump. But I'll admit, takes me a few minutes to get in right frame of mind for these workouts and I'm growing stale quickly from them. But my deck of cards is my best friend now
