Hope this situation is improving for you. I can relate with the drug use. Not proud but it is what it is. I can say it took me at least a year to notice any mental change in how I felt enjoyment or desire. I'm coming up on 4 years sober and I can undoubtedly say that I no longer feel those lingering robotic feelings of just living a mechanical life. I didn't decide to start pinning again til just recently after having some bloodwork done and realizing my Testosterone (229) was gone at 37. I also found out I have a vitamin D deficiency that was contributing to the way I felt. There is another thread I believe AAS and the addict with more people you might be able to relate to. Keep on keeping on and it does get better.
