Lower chest techniques

Just found this thread. I would so humbly say that if your having issues working your chest just stick to the basics. Flat bench, incline, dips. Stop tucking in your elbows. Which means you'll likely have to take weight OFF :(

Practice a guillotine press. If your unfamiliar it's an old style where you press down to your collar bone with elbows at an extreme flair. Practice light first as it can injure if done improperly. Also a tip: learn to pinch your traps in this style of pressing. It helps keep the shoulder from coming out of place and stabilizes the upper body.

Ah the guillotine press, have u been reading my posts[emoji123]. Be mindful, impingement is quite real with this press. I use this press wuite a bit, but for his developement thus far, if u don't mind me saying, the weighted dip on bars or bench will more than fix his lower chest issues.

I started the guillotine press very light 135 and learned it's strange form and tried to grease the groove so to speak. Takes the ego out of the lift when your forced to untuck your elbows. I let my traps support the weight as I lower it. I believe that is key to preventing impingement. 2 months time I'm working sets of 275 and the chest now has taken the lead instead of the triceps in a traditional press. In other words a properly conducted bench press.

Should you use this press for max attempt? HELL NO. But it does work the chest properly if your lagging :)
