Maintaining Calorie Intake

For the ADHD meso members. How do you maintain your daily calorie intake while being on a stimulant like Adderall XR? I find it extremely hard to exceed 3000 calories in a day because Adderall suppresses the shit out of my hunger. If i’m lucky i try and push for 2000 calories(estimated) of the ideal Protein/Fats/Carbs but if i push it even further i get extremely bloated and start feeling like a walking water balloon.
 
Just be careful with glucose/insulin sensitivity on MK. Otherwise I hear great things.

part of eating to grow is just forcing food when needed.
 
Drink your calories, do fasted cardio, lower fat intake, eat food that is palatable and easily digestible. Dont try to get your calories from traditional bb clean food. Dont be afraid of kids cereal, fat free milk, ice cream, etc. build up caloric intake over time, by adding 50-100 calories every week. you don’t want to force feed and stuff yourself out of the gate because you won’t be able to do over a long period of time consistently. Get 1-1.5 grams of protein per lb and just fill in the rest of the calories with food that you like. Stop worrying about a perfect macro ratio.
Also track your food.

Kinda sounds like your metabolism is messed up.
list a detailed full day of food. What did you eat the day before yesterday? Meal for meal, exact amounts, and calories. If I had to wager I’ll bet you can’t.

I’m pretty sure my metabolism is messed up, The day before yesterday i had 2 meals

1. bowl of oatmeal(with almond milk) with 1 banana and 2 packs of stevia and 3 boiled eggs with a pinch of sea salt

2. 8oz measured cooked Chicken Breast(lightly seasoned) and 1 whole potato(chopped and baked and lightly seasoned)

But i hear ya i’ll try and consume more calories little by little so i can spike my metabolism.

Cut out the boiled eggs and drink 2 cups of eggwhites.
replace the oatmeal with 2 cups of kids cereal and fat free milk.
drink a hydrolyzed or isolate protein shake in between meals.
instead of chicken breast drink egg whites. It’ll be more calories and digest a lot faster.
replace the potato with cream of rice. Keep fats until the last meal before you go to bed. If you like peanut butter, it’s easy to over eat and high in calories. So maybe peanut butter and ice cream with a protein shake at night. Set a timer for every 3 hours and eat something.
the idea is to use calorie sources your body will burn through a lot faster.
It’s not the healthiest choices but first things first is you need to be able to build your metabolism back up. So say week 1 stick to 200 cals, week 2 2100 cals, etc.
 
Also don’t force feed because you want to be consistent over a long period of time. You don’t want to be so stuffed you wake up and can’t eat. Just religiously track everything.
I’m not going to recommend drugs.
 
I been getting it prescribed by my Psych for some years now. I’m diagnosed with ADHD i’m not taking it for recreational purposes.
Adhd is an incredibly misunderstood disorder and very hard to deal with. It’s also thoroughly researched by professionals. A lot of people attack the treatment without understanding the disorder.
 
Maybe switch to instant release ? I’ve been taking it since ‘13 and only dealt with suppressed appetite for the first 3ish months. I take 80mg per day (250ish lbs)

I’m not too big on taking the next dose 6 hours after the first pill, I was on IR before 30mg(15mg in the AM and 15mg in the PM) it fucked with my sleeping pattern.
