Oklahoma City police officer Chad Peery may be a quadriplegic after sustaining severe injuries during an attack by three men as he attempted to escort them from Dan O’Brien’s Public House in northwest Oklahoma City. Joshua Rinken, Jimmy Smith and Cadmio Lopez have been charged with one count of maiming and one count of conspiracy to commit assault and battery upon a police officer. Rinken’s alleged use of anabolic steroids has been referenced numerous times in news accounts possibly implying that steroids played a role in the violent attack...

doesnt sound like roid rage. sounds like three men acted together to assault someone. which IS a crime. and one I think should be dealt with very sternly. i have no pity for muderers, rapists or robbers. these people belong in jail. where they can kill each other if they like.
says the maximum penaly is 17 years. for ruining lives with your own hands! for fun! prosecuters asked for 18-22 years for greg kruez. he got 10. for selling drugs.

10 years for selling steroids is ridiculous when compared to lighter/inconsistent sentences and/or sentencing guidelines for perpetrators of violent crimes...
