Yeah, I'm definitely stronger wider stance low bar. If I do it consistently the elbow thing creeps up on me and really manifests on bench. I did mostly front squat last year and switched to low bar about six weeks out from a meet. This experimenting with wide stance high bar wearing Olympic shoes. High bar for sure feels less powerful. With low bar you can get yourself out of a bind using your back, with low bar you're pretty much getting stapled if you hit a hard sticking point
Definitely agree on getting out of a tough spot, however I certainly feel much less confident bailing on a low bar wide stance if I ever get to that.
I haven't noticed any discomfort with my elbow squatting until this week so I'm definitely going to just take it easy and see how things progress.
