Mast P odor

Just brewed mast P for the first time. It has a strong sweet chemically odor. Not a very scientific description. But is this normal? Stank up the whole house. Wife came home and was like WTF???

What did you make it with? Anything other than BA and BB? Sounds as you may have over heated it.

I used MCT. I heated it to around 160f. New to brewing. And over heating did cross my mind. The solution did stay crystal clear. I was just surprised at how much it smelt. I’ve only brewed Test and NPP.

You’re fine at 160F. Tren I keep below 125F. I find that most compounds have a “hot plastic” smell to them when brewing. I can’t think of another way to describe it

Ok. I think that the plastic smell is a better description. I feel better now. Thanks all. I should be able to sleep better tonight now.

Had some NPP arrive today. Smell was strong as well in raw form. Gf is pissed the fuck off bc u can smell it through my safe in the bedroom. Its not overpowering but noticeable. That normal with NPP raw?
