Pretty sure I hurt something in my shoulders( right side)

I'm not a huge guy 190lb been on TRT for the last year 200mg a week split into 3 doses. My training is usually lower weight higher reps 12-20 rep range. I used to be a boxer so I never trained super heavy. Also the past 6 months were more just maintaince workouts I wasent trying to break plateaus or burn out. With working 55-60hrs a week 6 days a week, just even getting to the gym was almost a long shot. I decided I was getting tired of not really growing and adding strength like I could if I wasent to busy being such a vagina and worried about struggling to get through my physical work days all tired and sore from the gym and decided to cut back hours at work and give my self more time that I can dedicate to the gym and eating proper. So.i switched my workouts to 6-10 rep range of failure with drop sets

And pretty much I started a blast at with 600mg

Test Ex14 weeks,
dbol 50mgx 4weeks
300mg NPPx wk 5-14

( it's been a long time I took dbol or NPP so it sounded like a better idea to start them at different times so if I get any sides I know which it is)

I've been on a blast for 5 weeks now and this past week towards the end.of my chest workout out my right shoulder was on fire. But I was able to finish my workout.
I did do my back routine on a diff day and I pretty much got through it but started get similar pain at resting in between sets. But was able to finish my workout same thing with shoulder workouts that week.

Yesterday though I got through 5 sets of chest presses and my shoulder was on fire bad that I couent even lift anymore that day. I tried going really light like switching up to bodyweight dips and I couldn't even do 2. The pain went away after a 5-10 mins but I wasent trying to lift after that and risk getting hurt. The pain is also gone now but I'm pretty sure if I were to go to lift the same thing would happen again.

So obviously I should go see a DR but should I even risk continuing working out or should I avoid certain movements. Also maybe tone down the weight a little bit? Any of you guys have experience with shoulder Injurys?

The last month I started a blast

It sounds like chest press (bench press?) is aggravating your shoulder. I would avoid that movement for now.

Could be a rotator cuff issue... trying rolling up a towel and grabbing it slightly wider than shoulder width apart take it from your waist in front to over your head and back down as low as you can go. A wooden stick would work as well.

Do this 20 times multiple times a day especially when training chest or delts.

Will help with shoulder mobility.

Let me know how that works

Yea I would go see a orthopedic doc. I would double check your pressing positions. I never knew how critical it was to squeeze my shoulder blades together on movements like bench. Also doing as much shoulder and upper back volume as you can fit in your schedule is good too. That sounds similar to what happened to me. I had shoulder injury where my shoulder bone frayed and was contacting the joint. Still have it technically cause i never got surgery but it doesnt really bother me anymore.

What kind of injury or what cause bone fraying. I haven't heard that term before. Also what helped your pain go away?

I also notice even at work when I'm hold a 2 lb drill up around eye level and screwing something down my shoulder hurts. I'm like avoiding the Dr bc I just went for a knee mri and had a slightly torn meniscus but they want me to do.physical therapy which I guess im.being close minded to. I previously had a torn meniscus on that knee already and I don't see how physical therapy is going to help being that this has being going on a year or so...... know I here my mother's voice in my head when I was younger telling me
" you better watch with the sports and wreckless things I've done bc your going to feel it when you get older"

Thats just was the mri or xray showed they didnt know the cause although it happened while I was benching. I went to a chiro to get my rom back. They gave me steroid shots for a bit. Also keeping my shoulders strong helps. They said I could get arthroscopic surgery and cut the frayed bone out but I never got it done.

I love physical therapy. I have had one not great and 2 really excellent PT docs. The good ones are incredible. They will fucking find the tiniest little muscle that you didn't know you had, give you an exercise that will humble you to your core for it, and fix your issue over a couple months. Yes it takes time, but it is worth it! Just my experience.

If you are having shoulder issues then stay away from Dips - they are one of the worst exercises for front delts/rotator cuffs if you have issues there or even if you don't!! They simply over stretch the shoulders beyond their normal limits.

You have to think you have suddenly altered your workout and hormone level quite drastically. Going from endurance style rep ranges down to 6 is a big change and also smashing in 50mg/day Dbol is going to create huge strength jumps overnight. This is why guys who go from benching 6 to 8 reps down to 1 rep maxes suddenly tear pecs and cuffs because their bodies are not conditioned to that type of sudden intense lifting. If its a tendon type issue in the shoulder which it usually is then remember that tendons take 3 times longer to heal than muscle tissue due to the limited blood supply in them from veins. Give it time to heal and don't rush into more heavy stuff yet - you can still train but don't go balls to the wall failure for a few weeks otherwise you can make the micro tears worse till things really do snap.
