Welcome everyone to “Melly Mel’s Log From Hell”.
Several members participating in the “Meso’s Biggest Most Ripped” thread asked (actually told) me to do a cycle log for my first run with Tren. I ask that everyone please feel free to give your opinion and/or offer advice in regards to anything I am doing. I have been tossing metal and an AAS user for many years (25 give or take) and yet I feel like an infant warrior in this arena when I see all the knowledge here. I have learned so much during my short time here at Meso so I look forward to your help and support. I am committed to giving 100% during the next 12 weeks. If I slack off at anytime, you have my permission to verbally bitch slap me. No hard feelings.

Pre-cycle stats:
51 years of age
5’9” tall
190 lbs. ( 199 lbs. was my heaviest. My goal for this cycle is 210 lbs.)
BF% - I would guess low to mid teens.

Physical history:
Disc herniation’s at L4 & L5 – Surgery: double bi-lateral laminectomy. Currently getting epidural injections every 3 months. (This is a major issue at the moment.)
Bursitis in left hip. (Currently ok.)
Rotator issues in both shoulders. (This is a major issue at the moment.)
Bursitis in left shoulder. (Currently ok.)
Pain in the right distal bicep tendon. (Minor issue.)
I mention these issues because I pay the price when I do exercises such as squats, hack squats, leg presses, and deadlifts, so I haven’t done them in quite a while. I am going to try and incorporate them into my routine for this cycle at very low weight and increase as/if possible.
Pushing exercises for chest and shoulders, and, front and side raises for shoulders are possible at lower weights. I incorporate time under tension with lower weight for a lot of movements because heavier weights exacerbate my shoulder injuries.

AAS cycle components: (May be adjusted during cycle if needed.)
75mgs Tren A ed.
75mgs Test PP ed.
100mgs Mast P ed.
25mgs Dbol ed.
A base mix of 25mg Tren, 25mg Stan, 50mg Test on workout days one hour prior to workout.
20mg Nolva ed.
Adex if/as needed
(This is my first real experience with Tren and pre-workout base injections so this should be a really wild ride for me.)

Food intake:
My starting diet will be in the neighborhood of : Calories = 4000/Protein = 300g.

Day 1 starts tomorrow. I’ll be doing my first injection of Tren A, Test PP, and Mast P tonight. My first dose of Dbol and base mix will start tomorrow pre-workout.
 
Legend: To the vet’s. Please don’t be offended by my over explanation.

TUT – Time Under Tension. Count is 4-1-2. I will be incorporating TUT for a lot of chest and shoulder muscle group movements to keep my weights lighter due to the fact that heavier weights exacerbate my shoulder injuries for those movements.

R/P – Rest/Pause. A rest period at the end of the set followed by reps to failure with the same weight. The Rest/Pause is 15 seconds unless otherwise stated. (ex. 185x10 R/P x 4)

Smith Machine – When I use the Smith machine I count the bar as 15 lbs. in the total weight.

10x10 – 10 sets of 10 reps with a 60 second rest between sets.

PCZ – Peak Contraction Zone. Some days I’ll do a second workout or on a rest day when I’m bored and pick one exercise for one muscle group and find the peak contraction zone in that exercises range of motion. It isolates the muscle and keeps it under constant contraction for the duration of the set because you never reach the rest position at either end of the full range of motion. I usually do this as a 10x10. It’s great as a second mini workout for a muscle group that needs improvement or has hit a plateau.

One day in and im loving your log. Even included the music. Of course you left out the poptart flavor, but we cant be perfect (Im a little old school, I only eat strawberry). Seriously though, good looking workout.
