Memantine

Came across threads where people talked about using this Alzheimer’s drug to prevent some of the neurotoxicity caused by aas, especially 19nors. From what I’ve gathered one of the main mechanisms behind aas neurotoxicity especially with tren and nand is glutamate overstimulation resulting in excitotoxicity. Apparently this may even be one of the culprits behind the mental sides people experience. It sounds like in theory, Memantine could prevent a substantial amount of aas induced brain damage. I’ve only just started looking into this and I barely understand any of the research I’m reading, wondering if anyone has heard about this drug or has had experience using it on cycle.

A common side effect is confusion. Lots of confused members on Meso. You might get lucky. lol

Be careful on it. The half-life is long, and you'll be stuck waiting it out if you start out too high and it doesn't agree with you. I didn't like the way it made me feel at all, even starting conservatively, It's used as a nootropic, as well, which was my motivation.

can you tell me more about your experience with it? to recover from stimulant abuse or AAS abuse, or both? thanks.

Long ago it was used by people on amphetamines to prevent tolerance & neurotoxicity -- the online "hacker" community consisting of everyone from university students to musicians to computer programmers

Haven't looked into it in a while so maybe that information is outdated
