Metabolic recovery from clenbuterol

In order to kick start my cut I have decided to utilize clenbuterol for this first time. I began my cycle at 10 mcg of clenbuterol USP, carefully measured with a syringe and ingested orally each morning at approximately 9am daily. I tapered up my dosage everyday by 10 mcg, reaching a peak of 80 mcg daily at which point I no longer raised my dosage due to increased anxiety. I understand weight gain is completely normal after a clenbuterol cycle, and as it is my last day on cycle I plan to drop my calories by 100 and begin doing cardio six times a week (for reference I am 5'11, 178.8 pounds, eating 2200 calories on cycle). My worry has now become the effect of clenbuterol on the metabolism. I do understand that clenbuterol will increase my metabolism while taking it, but are there any acute metabolic effects once no longer using clenbuterol? For example, if my BMR before clen is 2100, after clen would I risk experiencing a sharp drop to a much lower BMR like 1500-1700? I should note as well I have not been taking T3, solely clen and no prior steroid use. Any help or advice is appreciated.

You shouldnt expect any weight gain from dropping clen considering you are dieting in a calorie deficit.

The only thing to keep in mind is the extra calories being burned by using the clen imo.

Ok that makes sense. I was trying to figure out how much of a drop in BMR I should expect when I hop off. For now I will keep the cals the same and introduce some hard cardio. Thanks for the info bro

I would change one variable at a time, just keep calories the same and see what happens. Adding more cardio, unless you arent doing much, probably just brings more negatives then positives right now. It'll proably make you more hungry as well if you add more activity.

Right, so leave my cals the same, train the same, and just observe how my body reacts? If I find that I am gaining weight eating the same amount that I was on cycle, would you recommend introducing cardio?

i dont know the details of your whole program so its hard to give advice.

But in general if you are gaining unwanted weight, either cut calories or increase calorie expenditure through the least stressing/problem causing means, whatever that is for you.
