Mild muscle relaxers effect on training

Strictly, never. Though it can be of benefit when you have to be productive on your feet but can barely walk after a heavy legs day due to excessive muscle contractility or even cramping (don't operate heavy equipment on muscle relaxers).
Why does gabapentin allow me to lift soooo much heavier and harder then without. Its ridiculous

I have no idea bro. Gabapentin is a nonopioid analgesic that treats neuropathy/nerve pain and not a muscle relaxant. Maybe it lessens some of the painful/burning sensations of muscular contractions that contribute to CNS fatigue?

What other substances have you used while lifting and how did they affect you?

The unscientific take is that it's probably because you feel lightly "high" without being sedated. It gets your mojo up. It removes or relieves some inhibitions. You feel better so everything is better, including lifts.

Excellent effect, but what are the side effects?
