The millipore's aren't that bad. I use the disposable complete units so I don't have to sterilize the receiver bottle. You have to be careful with the psi when filtering or they will crack. The autofil's are pes which technically isn't rated to handle benzyl alcohol and definitely not guaiacol or eo. I'm sure there are people that get away with it fine. But I rather go with a PVDF filter like millipore's.

Had the cup separate from the base of filter, lost media everywhere. Very poor choice of design to put the structurally weakest point of the unit there. Switched remainder of liquid to foxx autofill and rocked it on out. GPZ has promised to replace these filters with sum other stuff for me fwiw

DO NOT USE hope this helps someone. ALSO, as reccomended by a friend. Place whole filtering apparatus into pie pan b4 beggingining. I'd have another 50ml now if I had. Thankful I caught the leak b4 I left for work.

Damn bro you were right about that leakage. Lost some of my media twice on 8 psi. I was irritated and just straight emailed GPZ and he made right about it and sent me a different filter. NEVER again with this Millipore.
