It is a good movie, you'll like it. She will like it too. well.... i dont know what she likes, but most of the women in the theatre liked it. And in the end, the peoples thumb always wins. but that is a given!

Kurt Russell will be remembered for this movie. when this comes out on dvd it will really run into my madden time

I love hockey and have played a number of games on that rink and others in the building. Lake Placid is a pretty cool little town.

FUCK that movie , to be about a American dream its kinda fucked up the movie was filmed in Canada.

I saw that it was filmed, at least mostly, in Vancouver. The outside shots looked like Lake Placid (except the outdoor oval). The rink didnt look too much like the real place, the locker rooms were very similar.

I didn't see it yet but it looks like one of those movies you can tell exactly what it's like from the preview, I just roll my eyes whenever I hear all the american patriotic stuff in movies, so corny but I guess it works for US audiences. Fact is this anyway and everyone knows it, If the NHL allowed their players to playin the Olympics then, Canada would destroy everyone including the russians.
