Loss is 5-7 units for a 4mm and 29 units for a 13mm. I use a 4mm filter for peptides because of this.

I don't lose anywhere near that in 13mm Pall and Cobetter filters. Closer to 7 units.

And this is the perfect excuse to increase dilution to the maximum reasonable amount.

7 units off 300 (3ml) is nothing (and yes, pre 'wetting' reduces hold up volume even more.)
