Exactly brother I don’t know what the scale means you could be 245 pounds and look like dog shit or you could be 190 and look incredibleI am an inch shorter and 246 (second morning in a row, hell, yes), but I am in no position to "talk shit with the big boys."
And there is something to what he says. Not everybody looks the same given the same height and weight.
Obviously body fat has something to do with it. My 246 is at the peak of a bulk, and my on stage weight will probably be 30 pounds lower if last time around was any clue.
But there is a structural component, too. Younger guys with a tight waist, small pelvis, and wide clavicles will look better. There was a guy like that in my last competition. I beat him, but only because I was bigger and leaner. He has a structure that is going to look great once he adds more mass and learns how to get shredded for the stage. You can just see it. Give him two years, and I would not be able to stand on the same stage with him.
Or look at Ronnie Coleman as an amateur. At 5'11" and a stage weight of 213.4, he just looks like one of the big boys already.
Look at those biceps!
That's 30 years ago and I'm sure he still looks practically phenomenal even now as he was back then.Pic above is from 1991, amateur contest in Poland
Sadly that's true...30 years of the bb game wore him down on the inside no doubt.
He’s trying to get into acting isn’t he? I actually seen him recently in a movie or show I watched with my girlfriend.Kai Greene is still chugging along but Father Time isn't quite so kind to him either.
I believe so but haven't seen any films that he's in yet. He’s trying to get into acting isn’t he? I actually seen him recently in a movie or show I watched with my girlfriend.
He was in that show Stranger Things.I believe so but haven't seen any films that he's in yet.
Oh brain fart moment...thanks for that one.He was in that show Stranger Things.
He's had a lot of surgery that at best did him no good and at worst did him more harm. Ronnie Coleman is the poster man for "don't just throw surgery at pain"He was on Joe Rogans podcast talking about all his injuries and the surgeries he’s had. Fucking crazy.
The right one is photoshopped by the way. Look at the background behind his body being warped.
Good catch. The right one is photoshopped by the way. Look at the background behind his body being warped.
