On another site I am on someone has used provigil and it has helped with their pain from Multiple Scelorsis (mainly pain in the lower half of body and hands.) There are many papers on this which (I think show) it helps with the general fatigue leading to easier day to day activities but not currently prescribed for it (and I dont think saying its directly helping with pain?) .
Has anyone any experience with using it and its helped with any pain management (any serious pain issue)? If so was it prescribed or recommended for it? Any info greatly appreciated.

Modafinil in treatment of fatigue in multiple sclerosis. Results of an open-label study - PubMed
Treatment with modafinil significantly improves fatigue and sleepiness and is well tolerated by patients with MS. Unlike the higher dose regimen required in narcolepsy, a low-dose regimen of modafinil is effective in MS.
