Most of us have a mild cold compaired to this poor guy

Hey guys. I know that in order for any type of re-start to stick I wil need to deal with other underlying probems.

THis can include

1. Nutritional deficiencies. Will try to get a nutreval performed and work on what needs correcting.

2. Thyroid. Doc Crisler will obviously have his own methods for going about this but I will need to get ft3 and ft4 up and rt4 way down.

3. gain some farking weight. I need to put on a solid 10-20 pounds over the next half a year to a year. I am hoping the constipation and my lack of apetite is something we can resolve quickly to make this easy/actually enjoyable.

4. remove any underlying stressors. I will relax as much as possible. I haven't run for 2+ years now (but still kept myself in a overtrained state by lifting almost everyday). I have also not lifted a weight in 2+ weeks now and will ask Dr J what I should do regarding exercise.

anyone know of anything else?

Another thing, lets say, hypothetically, that we try something like clomid and it raises my lh and fsh and boosts my test. Could this indirectly help my thyroid itself, and increase the effectiveness the thyroid medication? I know that one of the reasons for decreased D1 activity is low sex hormones, so would increasing them help with t4->t3 conversion? And then the increased thyroid would help out sex hormones in a positive feedback type thing (basically when one system gets better, it allows other systems to heal, which makes it even easier for the other system to function properly, etc etc)

Regardless, Two years doesn't change the psychological issues/forces behind that. 50miles a week!! Come on. Next I see you have stated to only "walk".. Right...

You need to present your info clearly, FULLY, to a third party to evaluate you thoroughly. While there is a slim chance for coincidence, more has to be here. NOBODY runs that much EVER...

Running is not indicative of psychopathology in and of itself. 50 miles per week isn't particularly extreme for someone who considers themselves a runner.

Would you consider someone who bodybuilds (lifts weights) 7 hours per week deviant or even extreme? Why would running 7 hours per week be any different?

Come on. 50 miles a week is seven miles a day! Thats insanity IMO. You see one on those on the street in a blue moon in most places. ITS DEFINITELY A RUNNER. I was just pointing out why he cant put on weight, or how badly he needs to eat. Thats a shitpile of work!! There has to be a connection. Constipation, how could anyone be constipated with that much movement? Unless he is staying completely dehydrated...

Many that dedicated (and as below), are maticulous individuals who make plans with extreme divotion and discipline. A person like that would resolve the issues one way or the other. But not come here to tell a tale of constipation. Just making a call. Something doesn't seem right. I am visualizing BIG KNEES KNOCKIN.... Sorry.....

Working out 7 hours per week... If you are referring to time with the wheels...? Yes deviant.... The above deviant.....:D

You have to remember, and many take it for granted. The amount of folks in shape, or really exercising in out population is Miniscule....... Especially if you rule out young guys pre-career who have plenty of time on their hands. From Gym to Gym the tale remains the same. There are not many older guys working out 7 hours a week, or steady at all. There are so few, that they all get nick names behind their backs. [:o)]

One more. You refined it down to 7 hours. They are still not the same. The mental operation involved with solitary running at a continued pace, and relentless, is apples and oranges to sitting round the gym shootin the shit with the boys whilst you gear up for the next set. There's the whole psychee/stress of actually traveling. I dont see a 7 to 7 relation at all. Runners breed is I am guessing about .2% of the folks that actually commit to 7 hours in the gym...

I dont know, perhaps just me. I HATE running.....
