Anyways, time for a new guitar. Not very happy with my schecter with floyd rose tremolo. Actual, not very happy with the floyd rose tremolo. Trying to string or go from standard tunning to drop d and drop c is just a nightmare. So i picked up a new guitar. Also, i sold my half stack a while back for a good cause. Half stack was just too much anyways. So, i bought a new amp and the guitar to match. After quite a bit of research i went with these. Guitar is a esp ltd aj-1. A andy james signature guitar. The amp is a blackstar ht5r. Got both on memorial day sale. They're being shipped so here are internet pics. Now i have to learn how to play, lol.

Love my Schecters. Got one with the Floyd Rose and tune-o-matic bridge. Drop tuning isn't that bad if you block the tremolo, but sort of defeats the purpose of having a floating tremolo. Also got a few Jacksons, Ibanez, and a Gibson LP not pictured. Never really got into ESP guitars, though I'd like to get an LTD Eclipse one day.

I had a schecter bass but wasn't thrilled with it also have a blackjack guitar that's pretty nice. Fixed bridge though. My favorite amp I have is an 80s concert 2. Hand wired tube power.

I've got an esp myself. I dig it. Esp, strat, Washburn 12 string, taylor, still have my first ever guitar peavey predator. Had a martin from the 30's. Then i found out it was stolen from a local repair shop so i just gave it back. Karma +++.. Had a few strats. Washburn electrics, Jackson's. Sold my Marshall half stack too. Fuck I need to pick one up. Haven't played forevs.. i hope that fucker plays good for ya.

I've gotten lazy in my old age. No more half stack for me. I bring LP, digital modeller, and IEM. One trip from vehicle to bar. Set up in 2 min, and sounds the same every time. And I can hear everything so much better.

I always set mine up so that I could use the fine tuners to go to drop d. Now drop c, that is a pain in the ass
