My abs suck, want a 6 pack

So 10 minutes of light weight for a pump
is burning more calories than 30 to 45 min of
heavy grueling sets that I sweat from when I am finished.. and breathing heavy??

Nah..
Trust me, I got my first weight set at 13yrs old..
I am 44yrs old..
I burn very little calories from my workouts...
I would burn more walking to the corner store and back..

Using yourself as an example of directing carbs and calories doesn't work. It's not what's going on. When you train like a bodybuilder, typically higher volume, you burn more calories than with lower volume but higher intensity.
Higher intensity for the SAME amount of time burns more
calories.. I am not even close to my time that I use when I go heavy..

My wife bought me an ab roller today for 5 bucks Ross. I did it starting from my knees and did 5 sets of 20. I went straight and to the sides. Really good core work, and feel it in my arms. If you dont have one I recommend getting one.
