A close friend of mine is at Nationals in Florida right now. His name is George Thibault, and he will be competing as a middleweight. From 2005 to now, he has always AT LEAST made top 5 in every show he has done...including national events. However, he normally competes as a welterweight, so he moved up this year. I hope he does as well in this class as he did in welters. Here are some photos he just sent me from what looks to be the hotel. He is weighing about 176lb @ 5'7'ish SHREDDED!

Yeah he looks pretty good,well disaplined BB, he has obviously been doing it awhile.
I'd like to see him slightly bulked up a bt.,to me, I think he would look a bit better.

Last year he competed as a welterweight. He is now at the top of middleweights. I think he needs to put on about 5lb more, and come in a little leaner, and carb up more after weigh ins..he feels the same.
I can tell you that I have been talking with his wife the whole time, and she said they were literally cutting people on-stage because there were so many. 15 remained, and he made that top 15. So we will see how he places tonight. I predict top 10.

Yeah that should help do the trick.I think some times competitors get just a bit little too strung out in an attempt to come in as lean as possible.
I'm interested to see how he goes and what his look is on stage.Best of luck to him!
