My cutting then to bulking Log/with Pics

Been Running this log on another forum dunno why i left it so late to bring it here to,

Stats/ Male / 28/ 5,8 / Current weight now 194lbs as of today

Went from Fat before to getting into decent shape but then went to being massively overweight again, my highest weight was 287 lbs, but i started this cut am on right now at 254 lbs so currently 60lbs down, started the cut around 5months ago roughly,

I have stretch marks and will start getting some loose skin on my belly as i start dropping lower , both of these i fully understand i done to my body and that my body didn't do it to me, But having loose skin puts me off the grind so much and just throws me off , the stretch marks i covered mostly with tattoos and plan to get them around my belly area to try hide them also, For the loose skin i can only really try fill it out, or if needed i will get surgery , if i can fill out a tiny bit and not get loose skin and its just the stretch marks, ill get a tattoo covering my whole lower stomach area as tattoos are great at making them harder to notice


My current plan is to keep cutting down for the next 4-5weeks, i then plan to try add some good size, My current Calories are around 1500-1600 a day, I have x2 meals from a meal prep company ever day, these average 480-560calories a meal, i then have a protein shake and a protein bar also, i do cardio every day, 30mins on the stair master then 20mins on the treadmill walking with incline,

Currently Running
500mg test E - Weekly
200mg EQ - Weekly
5MG Reta - Weekly
4IU HGH Daily right before bed

Also Taking Collagen powder in my shakes to try help with the skin, Kinda hoping that and the HGH will help, However i do think am gonna need to go for a tummy tuck if am wanting to be happy,

Am thinking about just dropping the test down to 200mg Weekly, dropping the EQ , then in about 4-5weeks time from now, drop the Reta and run the below cycle with just 200-300 calories above maintenance and try fill out some size

500mg Test E Weekly
300mg Primo Weekly
4IU HGH daily


Am all ears for any advice or peoples opinions, If anyone knows anything else thats worth while trying for the skin to would be appreciated,

Nice progress, doesn’t it feel great to not be carrying all of that extra fat and weight? How long did it take you this time to cut down? Have you done any DEXA scans to check BF levels? How is bloodwork looking, no mention of any health markers?

thanks, feels tones better having clothes on but not great with the clothes off lol, was roughly about 5months i think , maybe a tiny bit longer, naw never done dexa scans, had bloodwork done about 3-4weeks ago , everything was good and apart from my E2 it was nuked into the ground, but my EQ was at 500mg before , i dropped it once i seen my e2 am due to get another test done in the next week, will post my future bloods in log, but with clothes on and a small flex or pump i do feel much much better about myself, this was earlier and was happy with it todayyyy.webp
 
Hell yeah, such a huge difference. DEXA could be fun and motivating to see how much is loose skin vs fat. I was curious how the EQ was treating you. Not surprised about the E2. Hopefully you got it dialed in. My internal meter is usually judged by how often the kickstand comes out during the night and in the morning.
How did the EQ affect lipids, RBC, and Hematocrit?

Unfortunately, it looks like there might be a bit of loose skin developing around the stomach. I don’t really see any on the chest, but it’s hard to tell since you’re covering it with both hands in the pic.

Whether the skin tightens up or not is mostly a genetic thing, so don’t stress too much. The main thing is you’re making solid progress.

You’ve already got HGH, which can help a bit with skin quality. You could also consider adding GHK-Cu - it might give a slight boost as well.

Worst case, there’s always surgery… though after watching Dr. Mike’s video, it honestly looks terrifyingly painful.

I don’t know your final goal, but personally, I’d aim to cut down to around 12-15% body fat.

From the looks of it, you’re sitting at roughly 24-28% right now. Once you reach your target, you’ll get a much clearer picture of what you’re dealing with in terms of skin and what needs attention.

Honestly, I’d slightly increase calories to around 1900-2000 and bump up cardio to 60 minutes a day in the 115–125 bpm range.

But again - excellent progress so far. Keep pushing!

i was really liking it , even with my E2 Nuked i still felt fine to be honest, dropped it down anyway though just to try get it to normal ranges, lipids and rbc and hema was all decent and what is expected =D just the E2 nuked to the ground

Appreciate it =D , actually loving the gym and dieting big time just now, ye its defo starting to get loose skin on the belly and the inside of my thighs, chest and arms ect all seem fine, even if they started would be able to grow into it, but the stomach cant really grow that out ,

ill keep posting pictures every week or so as well try get different type of pictures, i Will go look into GHK-Cu now never heard of it before, but am all for it even if it has a slight chance to help even a tiny bit,

ye i know most people do aim for that around 12-15% before going on a lean bulk, my concern with it is i feel like there is a good chance ill hate myself if i get that lean and the skin goes really bad, ill play it by ear , gonna keep cutting for another 5weeks and will re evaluate then and see where am at, will push the cut as far as i can though before stopping

I do plan to up my cardio but am doing the Stair master at level 6 for 30mins and it kills me lol, trying to just up it slowly and get used to it, i then do 10mins on treadmill after the 30mins stair master ,
 
Hey man. Just came across this and wanted to nice work. I'm in a similar situation where I just let myself go and have been trying to unfuck myself. I'm planning on ghk-cu and gh to hopefully tighten up some skin but we'll see. I'll update in my cut log if I get any results but I'm sure it will take a while.

I'm with ya on the loose skin. But, don't let that be a determining factor in stopping the cut short. Didn't see a percentage body fat but..
Disclaimer. I'm about to regurgitate a couple different podcasts I just listened to on fat loss, stalls and competition prep from, j3 University podcasts. Excellent stuff, check it out. Here's what I'd say after listening..
Keep going with the cut as long as your still progressing. Your additional 2-300 calories a day for lean bulk sounds like a great plan.
However, you can also use the 2 to 300 calorie bump (in carbs) for couple days during the cut when you get real fatigued or even stall as a reset/refeed to give you the glycogen/ energy to continue with cutting and keep performance optimal. Sometimes we undergo more fatigue killing ourselves that it becomes counter-productive. 1500cal by food while also cardio, steps...and weight training. Something's gotta give. Just remember fatigue management. Think your muscles get the same intensity when your glycogen depleted and feeling like shit from cutting as when you are well rested with more carbs and less overall fatigue? Simple, yet overlooked concept that just stuck with me and made sense.

Some update pics , will post original when started then middle of journey then just a few days ago , still planning to cut down for a few more weeks maybe like another 8 weeks before try to add on some good muscle , heard Morpheus8 can help with skin issues , gonna look into it next week to try get it done , still just running 250mg test , 4IU HGH daily, 5MG Reta weekly
