Hi guys, my doctor gave me a ssri, i have a thing to Say, i'm a Little bit worried about the thing It can decrease my test levels, what are your experiences and opinions ? I'm a Little bit young to keep myself already in trt, but mental health Is too importante, best regards guys

There is no good reason to not take your SSRI (prescribed for a good reason I am sure) based on hormonal effects. The effects on sexual function that occur in many individuals is not hormonally mediated per se, but rather a consequence of effects on serotonin, that regulates sexual desire in an inhibitory manner, by blunting the excitatory system (of the brain's mesolimbic system). One benefit of this is that ejaculation is delayed by SSRIs, enhancing performance, and they are a treatment used in premature ejaculation as a result.
