My Fertility Situation With TRT

Just wanted to share and maybe get some insight on my personal situation.

I’ve been on TRT for about 5 months now, started at 150mg per week, I then went to 200mg per week. For the past 8 weeks I’ve been running 400mg per week with 200mg of EQ added in 5 weeks ago. Everything was great, I felt awesome and was achieving milestones in the gym. Wife started talking about baby #2 and I decided to go get my semen analysis done. I came back with zeros across the board, so I’m completely shutdown. I knew and assumed this risk so I’m not shocked, but I’m 27 years old and had a healthy count before TRY and I already have one kid. After finding out about the shutdown I have since stopped EQ (last shot was 10 days ago) I also stopped TRT for 10 days cold turkey. I just wanted to pause and assess the situation, I have 20,000iu HCG on hand and about 3000iu of HMG on hand. I’ve done lots of research and from what I’ve saw those two and maybe some L-Carnitine is the top 3 things I’ve found to help people in my situation. My question and what I’m seeking advice on is with only a mild history of TRT and the only “steroid” I’ve ever done was 5 weeks of EQ is it possible I can continue with low dose TRT (75 or 100mg) per week? It would help me tremendously with just the mental game of everything. With only a relatively short exposure to anabolics what’s the timeline on recovery for a person like me? I just wanna say I did know this was possible and I assumed the risk so I’m not complaining but I just want to do this as efficiently as possible in case I do have to come off TRT completely I can get this over with and get on with my life again. When I started TRT it changed my life, it was like someone gave me the keys to a Ferrari and I had been driving a 1992 Honda civic. I had issues with libido, brain fog, motivation, I am fairly successful for my age so I was still accomplishing things despite this but being on TRT it drastically improved my life so it’s been a mental fuck trying to decide how to go about this

Look, if you want to be fertile, you'll need to stop hormone replacement therapy (HRT) completely and start a protocol with HCG or Ovitrelle to restore testicular function and fertility. After about four weeks of using 1000 IU of HCG every other day, starting in the third week, add tamoxifen and clomiphene at doses of 40 mg and 100 mg respectively. Continue with these two medications (without the HCG) from the fifth to the eighth week at doses of 20 mg and 50 mg respectively. During this time, you'll have blood tests done to check LH, FSH, total testosterone, and free testosterone levels.

Why fuck with clomid and tamoxifen when he already said he has HMG and HCG on hand? Just stick to HMG HCG for three months and test again. We have cheap pharma grade fertility meds available from India now so we don't have to do these boomer HPTA restarts anymore and nuke our eyes with clomid.

As to whether to stay on test, I would put all my chips in restoring fertility then jump back on once you get it done. High dose HCG should keep you in a high normal range.

Thanks for the advice, I believe that’s what I’ll do. I’m really hoping the HCG keeps me around 5-600 test I’d be happy with that.
