My first homebrew and a question for you

Hi
first of all thank you for all the information that is here on the web, I managed my first home cooking.
IMG_20211107_164717744.jpg150ml was boiled. But I was left with + -110. I spilled about 10ml. The rest remained in the filter. God, this is the first and last time I've made this. I had to use 17 filters pvdf 0.22 um 33mm. I filtered this amount without a break of 5 hours. I have a lot of raws at home that I want to do. I decided to buy a vacuum pump.
Will this pump be sufficient? Vakuové čerpadlo, VN-C1 podtlak vakuové čerpadlo se stojánkem -80 kpa 10 W DC 24 V / DC 12 V, hluk: <60 dB,15 l/min. sací čerpadlo Mini Vacuum (DC12 V) : Amazon.de: Byznys, průmysl a věda
I know I need a gl45 bottle, a Bottle Top Vacuum Filter and a hose to connect it. Am I right? That's all ? And the last question is any minimum amount that can be filtered like this?
Thanks for any advice and sorry for your English.

Yep, sounds like a first brew haha. I think we all spill some the first time. I am not sure how much you plan to brew, but if it's all personal use, just get some 60 mL syringes and a caulking gun. This will make filtering exponentially easier, and you can filter that amount in 10 minutes or less.

I have never used a vacuum pump setup so I cannot really help you with that.

I used a caulking gun and a 60ml syringe. Probably bad filters. I'll tell the truth, I don't even want to find out. I never know that gun in my hand again. I have a carpal tunnel from it

one question one comment, 1) what carrier oil did you use? 2) I had a shit caulking gun the first time I filtered. I bought a better, much stiffer one (still only $16) and it is much easier to use for filtering. It shouldn't take anywhere near 5 hours and make me wonder what your entire process was. Did you vent the vials when you filled them?

EDIT: you're also using larger filters than I do, which mean it should pass through even easier. What gauge needle were you using for filtering into the vials?

Only filtration lasted 5 hours. Used 17 filters, 2 different brands. Oil temperature during filtration 39 °

Wow, like I said without knowing your entire process, I have no idea why it took so long. I fully understand why you’re looking into a vacuum pump haha

Once you get it down a couple of hours is really all you need. Get a vacum pump and some bottle top filtration units.... it's a game changer !

can we see your set up? did you have the vacuum pump with the filter in the top? ive only seen it done on the internet and they brew 100ml but it SEEMED effortless. i plan on brewing soon and i wanna know what took you so long so i dont have to do it. lol
