First off, I admit, I'm an idiot for this. I've taken TRT on and off, and I thought I'd try my first proper cycle. I landed on 400mg test cyp and 600mg boldenone weekly. I'm a smaller guy, 5'9" 160 lbs, but I thought the eq side of stronger appetite would help me out. It did for the first 4 weeks, and I had no issue having my wife push a total of 2cc of oil (I believe grapeseed carrier in the test, MCT oil in the eq).
Then on Thursday, January 8th, at the end of the injection, I immediately felt shortness of breath, the need to cough, and lay down, with 45 mins or so of impending doom. I went to sleep after some time and overnight it seemed my symptoms resolved. I read some posts on here that referenced this study: (Acute respiratory distress following intravenous injection of an oil-steroid solution) and read that I should have my wife aspirate and push very slowly to avoid those problems. Well, on Monday, January 11th, she did just that. About 3/4 of the way through, I told her to stop because I felt the cough and other symptoms coming on. There was quite a bit more blood than usual at the injection site. I again laid down and had 45 mins or so of the above. I finally fell asleep and hoped it would be just as for. This time, however, I woke up about an hour or two later with chills so bad that I had to put two layers of clothes on and two blankets on. My blood oxygen level was in the low 90s and my pulse was in the low 110s. It was absolutely exhausting to get up and do anything, and I had a really hard time breathing. I decided not to go to the ER and just monitor my blood oxygen.
The next morning was a little better, and I only had a minor fever. I was still exhausted and had a hard time breathing if I got up or changed position. After 48 hours, I felt a great deal better, and I thought I was well on my way to getting better. Unfortunately, it's 2 and a half weeks later and my symptoms are still intermittent (though much more minor) as well as what feels like acid reflux? I went to the ER a few nights ago because I woke up in the middle of the night with chills, shortness of breath, and exhaustion. They did a chest xray and CT scan with contrast. They didn't see anything except a nodule on my lung, which they're now testing for Valley Fever as I live in AZ, and they referred me to a cardiologist that can't get me in for two weeks. My PCP doesn't seem to believe or understand the possibility of a POME 2 weeks ago (although my D-Dimer was high), and I'm trying to figure out what to do next. Playing and wrestling with my kid stirs up my symptoms, working out is a no-go, and I have no real answers yet.
Any ideas on what might be going on? Another relevant study is here: Occurrence of Pulmonary Oil Microembolism After Testosterone Undecanoate Injection: A Postmarketing Safety Analysis - PubMed
