Nebivolol for lowering RHR

Hey man, appreciate the response. I'm not trying to get it that low, it's just genetic. My "usual" bp without the nebivolol is like 105/55 to 112/58.

My RHR before i raise the calories for my off season and before adding the HGH was 67-72 but recently went up to 75-80 and i thought nebivolol would be good for reducing my heart rate. Unfortunately it seems it has an impact on lowering my blood pressure too and that leads to even further increase in RHR despite the nebivolol.

The only way i can bring my diastolic to 60-70 is by adding a ton of sodium but that leads to an unwanted increase in systolic too. The rarely times i saw my diastolic at 60-70 range i had a systolic of 130s.
Have you ever had an echocardiogram? Sometimes, a low diastolic could be heart valve leakage.

Hey, you tagged my retarded doppelganger :p

Thanks for the compliment, we did some great work over the years on the PM forums. You, I, gotgame, Matt Porter, and many others helped to popularize the use of Telmisartan and Nebivolol as ancillaries. Crazy to see how widespread the use of these drugs is nowadays in bodybuilding circles. Maintaining heart health while on AAS
Thanks for sharing the link to that thread

Yeah but many many years ago. It's on my list seeing a cardiologist and make all the necessary scans and checks, so far around my place with a little search i've done i haven't found anyone relatively young to speak freely about my gear use.

I didnt read all 3 pages but i can tell you from what i read and my own experience that nebivolol definitely lowers blood pressure more systolic then diastolic so if ur goal ist just to lower heart rate but keep bp where it is then u should look into other beta blockers even nebivolol is on of the best beta blockers imo.

Anybody combine it with telmisartan?
i do. 80 mg telmisartan and 5 mg Nabivolol

BP did not drop much on the nabivolol add but it does keep my RHR about 15 lower.

the first time i added nabivolol was when i ran a high tren cycle (500+ mg), my BP went from mid 130s to high 140s, despite being on 80mg telmisartan.

now i take Nabivolol just to keep overall rate down, esp on any tren dosage or deca.

it has not dropped my bp below mid 120s

For me it does quite magic. I don´t know. Currently having some trouble with my blood presure. Like 140/80 +-10 even with 16mg Candensartan and 2,5mg Nebivolol. My RHR drops like 10-20bpm. I´ve noticed that with Nebivolo my heart rate drops quite high during sleep. All time down was at 36bpm for 5min and 40 +-2 happens quite often to me.

My current BP protocol if I am blasting
80mg Telmiasartan "Currently though experimenting with 40mg Edarbi/ azilsartan"
12.5mg chlorthalidone
10mg nebivolo

Keeping my blood pressure low if I am cycling is especially important for me since I let it stay too high for many years so I have to error on the side of caution.

Guys, do you notice a reduction in blood pressure as well besides RHR? I think I'm gonna stop taking it, it might have a lowering effect on my diastolic which was already below normal.

If blood pressure drops too much then heart rate has to come up to compensate for the lack of pressure. If that's the case then I'm fakked because it skews for the worse both parameters i care for.

Here's an example, I'm taking 5mg and for the first days my morning RHR was around 67-70. Now my BP dropped even further and RHR got high again.

Pay special attention to pulse pressure over time (see bottom part of Fig. 1 above). Widening pulse pressure can indicate arterial stiffness and/or diastolic dysfunction. Regular echos/ekgs/BP monitoring if you abuse androgens.

Yes, thanks i'm aware of pulse pressure. It seems that over 60 for extended period of time might cause further issues. I'm rarely over 60 points difference.

Thing is we all agree that's not good but i haven't seen yet any suggestions on how to raise diastolic and i don't mean only here on the board but i googled hard for this and the only suggestion is to eat more salt (LOL) but this will lead to an increase in systolic as well.. so who knows, i might wait patiently in my corner to die from that low systolic. I hope the cardiologist will help me with this.

Go off of AAS for extended period to allow some remodeling of the heart and vasculature.

That's my blood pressure on cruise dose of ~900ng/dl and that was my blood pressure before starting gear. The only thing changed since i started gear is a slight elevation on RHR mostly after introducing HGH and gaining weight.
