You're talking about options that will either say "Show Headers" or "Show Source".
There will be a few lines that say "Received From:" followed by a domain and IP.
These are the servers that it passed through. Basically it's just the IP address of each of your email hosting providers, i.e. safe-mail or countermail. You can copy and paste the IP addresses into your browser and you'll see it go to safe-mail.net or countmail.com.
You aren't getting their actually IP address short of getting the FBI to request it from safe-mail or countermail or whatever they used. Even then if the source is even a little bit intelligent they would be anonymizing their IP with a set up like Tails+Tor or at least a VPN.
Now if they are as fucking stupid as paulie, you might want to check the content of the emails. They might have told you their actual address and their phone number.

MW I give you credit. I recently had this happen to me. I was called a reverse scammer at first until it all came to light my paid safemail account was hacked. In the end it is not the sources fault that the buyers email was hacked and is now out money. This shows what kind of operation you run. Hats of to MW. We need more like you.
